2025 Quality Month: Zero Defects, Rooted in Quality
Zero Defects · Full Participation · Continuous Improvement — the campaign ran through April 2025, closing with every department signing the Quality Commitment Wall.
Company news
A factory-wide quality campaign
On April 1, 2025, D.F.S launched the 2025 Quality Month under the theme: “2025 Quality Month – Zero Defects, Rooted in Quality, Deep Global Cultivation.” The initiative was designed to encourage company-wide participation in quality management and to build a high-quality, efficient production environment — on a 10,000 m² factory floor, with 30+ R&D engineers and 29 retail security models in the portfolio.
Quality Month is not an isolated event. It is the visible half of a quality policy the company has run since it began building retail security solutions in 2003: 23 years of protecting what stores put on display.
Kick-off
Kick-off meeting and core philosophy
At the kick-off meeting, the Head of the Quality Department presented the full campaign plan and emphasized one philosophy: “Quality Improvement Has No End.”
- Strengthening quality awareness among all employees — a strategic move, not a poster campaign: the program implements the company's quality enhancement strategy across every shift.
- The full month of April 2025 built practical experience and a long-term quality management mechanism that keeps pursuing the “Zero Defects” goal.
- Four audited management systems — ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and NECAS — anchor that mechanism in process, not in slogans.
- The R&D record behind the claims: 5 invention patents, 16 software copyrights and more than 100 design and utility patents.
Commitment
Employee quality commitments
Department heads led all employees in a solemn oath: “Quality is life, standards are the bottom line!” Every staff member pledged through three key commitments.
- Quality as Lifeline — quality is the lifeline of the enterprise; we uphold the zero-defect standard to safeguard the foundation for growth.
- Systematic Execution — quality execution is enhanced through systematic training and process control to ensure compliance throughout the entire workflow.
- Building a Quality Community — create competitive advantages through quality, earn market recognition through reputation, and continuously create greater value by improving customer satisfaction.
On the wall
The Quality Commitment Wall
Following the opening speech, representatives from each department signed the Quality Commitment Wall — a gesture symbolizing a solemn promise to customers and a steadfast commitment to uphold quality.

From pledges to shipped units
What the promise looks like at the bench
Quality Month lands on a production floor where verification is engineered into the process itself — and where customers can check the results in the hardware they buy.
- Four-stage QC chain: incoming material inspection, in-process checks (first-off and patrol), 100% functional testing of finished units, then aging tests and sampling before shipment (industry-standard chain).
- Alarm stations are sound-rated at ≥90 dB, and recoilers are pull-tested beyond 30,000 cycles before assembly — figures published per model, not per batch claim.
- ESL tags carry a 5-year service life (refreshed 5 times a day on CR2450 cells, replaceable), with a low-power NFC variant extended to 12 years.
- Brand-side evidence from the same lines: the custom Garmin DG series — built with integrated charging and alarm — was described by the customer as matching premium store aesthetics while theft dropped significantly.
Looking ahead
Rooted in quality, cultivated globally
“Quality Improvement Has No End” holds after the wall is signed. D.F.S continues to mirror that standard where it meets the market — for example at EuroShop 2023, the world's No.1 retail trade fair, Hall 5, Booth F43 — and keeps one definition across 13 certified markets and 29 models: products built to be touched, and built to be trusted.
